Hello!

I’m Virginia Martinez.

I’m an organizational designer with a focus on creating more inclusive and innovative teams.

My superpower is the ability to identify the superpowers in others. I reflect back the strengths and potential I see in individuals, teams, and organizations.

I have over 20 years of experience, in various areas of Talent, People and Culture Strategy. And, I’ve combined this with my expertise in Design Thinking to create Tenth House.

Prior to starting my own practice, I worked at IDEO, a global innovation consultancy, as a Director of Talent before taking on the role of Director of Creative Capability Building where I advised clients on adopting and scaling innovative behaviors and processes. I also spent 5 years the UC Berkeley Haas School of Business where I provided coaching and co-created training curriculum for MBAs and Executives focused on Design Thinking and Innovation. Early on in my career I was with The Boston Consulting Group where I creatively built new recruiting processes and developed my love of making slides.

I have an active network of thought-partners and collaborators. Over the years we’ve teamed up to tackle everything from bringing innovation to law firms, designing and facilitating DEI training, helping UX teams work more efficiently, creating a design apprenticeship for the BIPOC community, and launching new ventures.
